Requires all individual health insurance policies delivered, issued, renewed, extended, or modified in Delaware to cover medically necessary insulin pumps at no cost to covered individuals, including no deductibles or cost-sharing amounts.

Requires all group and blanket health insurance policies delivered, issued, renewed, extended, or modified in Delaware to provide the same insulin pump coverage at no cost to covered individuals.

Mandates Delaware Health Care Commission plans and health benefit carriers to provide coverage for medically necessary insulin pumps at no cost in all health benefit plans.

Defines "insulin pump" as a small, portable medical device approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to provide continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion.

Exempts accident-only, specified disease, hospital indemnity, Medicare supplement, long-term care, disability income, and other limited benefit policies, as well as high deductible health plans and catastrophic plans that would lose their tax status if required to provide the coverage.

Applies to all policies, contracts, or certificates issued, renewed, modified, altered, amended, or reissued after December 31, 2021.
