Allows inmates to receive either monetary compensation or additional good time credits for work performed, at rates determined by the Department of Correction.

Increases the maximum good time credits earned through program participation from 5 to 10 days per calendar month.

Raises the annual good time cap from 160 to 180 days per year for each 365 days of actual time served.

Expands inmate work opportunities and job training while allowing the Department to manage budget constraints by offering good time credits as an alternative to wages.
