Changes per diem compensation for retired justices, judges, chancellors, or vice chancellors accepting active duty designation from a fixed $250 per day to 1/365 of the annual salary for their former judicial position.

Maintains the cap that total per diem compensation when added to retirement pay cannot exceed the current annual salary of the judicial position from which the officer retired.

Continues to provide reimbursement for travel and secretarial expenses necessarily incurred while performing active duty.

Aligns compensation for retired Supreme Court justices and Court of Chancery judges with the existing compensation structure for retired justices of the peace and commissioners of lower courts.
