Requires school district and charter school employees serving grades 6-12 to complete red flag indicator training: 3 hours initially (within 60 days of employment), at least 1 hour annually thereafter, or 3 hours every 5 years after initial training.

Red flag indicator training must teach employees to recognize psychosocial indicators and behaviors of students who are dangerous to self or others, and inform them of reporting, tracking, and referral requirements.

Mandates each school district and charter school establish and maintain a red flag indicator reporting, tracking, and referral policy for identifying at-risk students and referring them for mental health evaluation, treatment, or law enforcement action.

Provides immunity from civil liability, criminal liability, and professional discipline for school employees acting in good faith compliance with their school's red flag indicator policy.

Act becomes effective immediately with implementation required within 6 months of enactment.
