Proclaims April 2021 as "Sikh Awareness and Appreciation Month" in Delaware.

Recognizes that Sikhs have lived in the United States for over 100 years and that Sikhism is the fifth largest religion worldwide with approximately 500,000 Sikh Americans.

Notes that the first Sikh temple in Delaware was established in 1990 in Elsmere and that Sikhs began residing in Delaware in the 1970s.

Acknowledges the Sikh American community's contributions through interfaith initiatives, charitable work for homeless and food-insecure populations, annual peace walks in Newark, and hosting North America's largest intercollegiate Bhangra and Fusion dance competition.

Recognizes that Sikhs have faced discrimination and hate crimes since September 11, 2001, and that Sikh boys experience bullying at twice the national rate.
