Commemorates the 50th anniversary of Title IX, enacted June 23, 1972, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs receiving federal financial assistance.

Applies to approximately 17,600 local school districts, over 5,000 postsecondary institutions, charter schools, libraries, and museums, covering recruitment, admissions, athletics, financial aid, and treatment of LGBTQI+ students.

Documents significant progress since 1972, including women's college completion rates rising from 8% to 39% for bachelor's degrees, and high school girls' athletic participation increasing tenfold to comprise 42% of high school athletes.

Acknowledges remaining disparities, including unequal funding for women's sports in schools with predominantly minority student bodies, education and pay gaps between male and female-dominated degrees, and ongoing sexual harassment and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Urges Delaware citizens to recommit to Title IX's ideals and work to expand protections for equal rights in educational institutions.
