Designates June 15, 2021, as "Delaware Elder Abuse Awareness Day" in the state of Delaware.

Recognizes that 4-6% of elderly individuals experience abuse, which remains a largely unrecognized public health and human rights crisis.

Acknowledges that the National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse recognize June 15 as "World Elder Abuse Awareness Day."

Urges all Delawareans to learn more about protecting and nurturing elderly citizens and addressing elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.

Notes Delaware's efforts through the Department of Health and Social Services, the Delaware Nursing Home Residents Quality Assurance Commission, and the Department of Justice to address elder abuse issues.
