Recognizes the contributions of long-term care workers in Delaware, including certified nurse aides, nurses, food services staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative personnel who serve older adults and people with disabilities.

Acknowledges long-term care workers' essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic, including providing care despite limited personal protective equipment, limited resources, and significant personal risk to themselves and their families.

Recognizes over 400 individuals who completed complimentary online infection prevention and control training to join the long-term care workforce as temporary nurse aides and assistants.

Designates May 9 through 15, 2021 as Skilled Nursing Care Week in Delaware to honor the work of long-term care facilities and workers.
