Calls upon the State of Delaware to prioritize increasing available mental health resources for children and young adults seeking mental health services.

Urges the state to provide supporting services for those who have lost loved ones to suicide, recognizing they face increased risk of mental health disorders.

Acknowledges that suicide is the second leading cause of death among young adults, with 90 percent of suicide deaths involving an underlying mental illness.

Recognizes existing mental health initiatives including Project DelAware, Bridge Clinics, the DEHope Line, and House Bill 100 with House Amendment 1 that increase mental health resources in Delaware schools.
