Recognizes June 5, 2021, as "HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day" to celebrate the strength and resiliency of people living longest with HIV.

Memorializes June 5, 2021, as the 40th anniversary of the HIV epidemic, marking the date the U.S. Center for Disease Control published the first official report of AIDS in 1981.

Notes that 2,699 Delawareans diagnosed with HIV have died since 1981, with 3,631 currently living with the virus as of May 1, 2021.

States that 62% of Delawareans living with HIV are age 50 or older, compared to the national average of 50%.

Acknowledges Delaware's tools to end the epidemic, including treatment as prevention, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, syringe service programs, HIV testing, and prevention outreach initiatives.
