• Allows religious employers to request exclusions from coverage requirements if they conflict with bona fide religious beliefs, except when services are necessary to preserve the life or health of a covered individual.

• Permits plans to cap coverage at $750 per covered individual per year and exempts high deductible health plans and catastrophic plans from cost-sharing prohibitions if such requirements would affect their federal tax status.
