Department of Education must update and revise statewide standards and guidelines for teacher academies, with local education agencies required to submit curriculum for approval by the 2025-2026 school year.

Teacher academies must offer value-added credits (including dual enrollment, work-based learning, and certification exam preparation) to students who complete the required program coursework.

Local education agencies offering teacher academies must provide work-based learning immersion options for students to gain hands-on classroom and educational environment experience.

Department of Education shall provide technical assistance to help local education agencies develop articulation agreements with postsecondary educator preparation programs, including the Delaware Educator Apprenticeship Program and Grow Your Own programs.

Department must publish an annual report on teacher academy participation, including statewide participant numbers, institutions where graduates transition, program summaries by school, number of teacher mentors, and state scholarship recipients.
