Prohibits health insurers from requiring patients to fail on one FDA-approved cancer drug before covering another drug, for both individual and group health insurance policies.

Extends coverage protections to drugs treating "associated conditions" (symptoms and side effects) of metastatic cancer, requiring the same prohibition on step therapy as for cancer treatment drugs.

Requires that covered drugs for cancer treatment and associated conditions be consistent with best practices, national clinical guidelines, national standards of care, or peer-reviewed medical literature.

Applies to all insurance policies, contracts, and certificates issued, renewed, modified, or amended after December 31, 2025.
