Health spas must provide a clear and conspicuous direct link or button on their website allowing buyers to cancel their contracts online

The cancellation link must be in larger type, contrasting font or color, or otherwise set off from surrounding text to clearly call attention to it

Existing law already requires penalty-free cancellation within 3 business days of signing a contract, with full refund upon written notice

If a health spa relocates more than 15 miles from the original location or goes out of business without providing alternative facilities, buyers can cancel and receive a prorated refund

Refunds must be paid within 30 days of receiving a cancellation notice sent by certified mail
