Require all school districts and charter schools to provide vision screening including color blindness testing to students in kindergarten.

Mandate vision screenings at appropriate intervals in subsequent grade levels, with intervals to be determined by the Department of Education.

Require vision screening for all new students to a district or charter school in non-testing years if no prior screening record exists in the student's electronic health record.

Direct schools to record vision screening results in each student's electronic health record.

Require schools to notify parents, guardians, or relative caregivers when a student fails a vision screening.
