Add new subsection (e) to § 1318 of Title 14 providing education employees up to 3 days of paid leave per incident for injuries sustained in the performance of duty, provided the injury is reported and verified by a certified medical practitioner.

Injury-related absences do not count against the employee's sick leave balance and are reinstated if another incident occurs.

Renumber existing subsections (e) through (k) as subsections (f) through (l) to accommodate the new injury leave provision.

Maintain all existing paid time off provisions including sick leave, religious holiday observance (3 days), personal leave (5 days per fiscal year), jury duty, and subpoena-related absences.
