Designates April 11-17, 2024, as "Black Maternal Health Awareness Week" in Delaware.

Acknowledges that Black women in the U.S. die from pregnancy-related complications four times as often as White women and suffer life-threatening complications twice as often.

Notes Delaware's Black infant mortality rate is 11 per 1,000 live births, three times higher than the White rate of 3.4 per 1,000 live births.

Recognizes Delaware's ranking as 26th in the nation for highest prevalence of infant mortality.

Commits Delaware to improving maternal health outcomes through efforts including the OB Hemorrhage Initiative and addressing social determinants of health affecting maternal care disparities.
