Designates June 6, 2024 as the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Allied landing at Normandy during World War II.

Commemorates Operation Overlord, which involved 5,000 naval vessels, over 11,000 Allied aircraft sorties, and 153,000 troops on the first day of the invasion.

Honors Delaware veterans who participated in the Normandy invasion, including Maurice Kaye and the late Thomas Maloney (1924-2024), and recognizes that 12 Delawareans died or were mortally wounded on D-Day.

Notes that American troops suffered over 6,500 casualties on D-Day and acknowledges the operation as the beginning of the end of Nazi Germany's ambitions for world domination.

Calls for recognition and honor of all Allied service members, living and deceased, who fought for liberty and freedom in Europe during the D-Day invasion.
