Reaffirms Delaware's commitment to strengthen its sisterhood partnership with Taiwan, established on September 12, 2000, and celebrated its milestone 24-year anniversary in 2024.

Commends Taiwan's democratic institutions, including its January 13, 2024 presidential election that resulted in the election of President Lai Ching-te and Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim.

Supports Taiwan's efforts to negotiate a Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) and Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement (ADTA) with the United States, noting that 2023 trade volume between Delaware and Taiwan reached nearly $237 million.

Endorses the reopening of a Delaware Trade Office in Taiwan and supports Taiwan's participation in international organizations including the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF), WHO, ICAO, UNFCCC, and INTERPOL.

Directs that copies of this resolution be sent to Governor John Carney and Ambassador Alexander Yui of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States.
