Honors 56 young women from Delaware high schools participating in the 2024 Delaware Girls State session held June 16, 2024 at Legislative Hall in Dover.

Recognizes the educational value of Girls State experience in teaching participants about the legislative process, bill development, elections, committee systems, and representative democracy.

Commends participants for their hard work and extends best wishes for their future success, including hope that some may serve as elected representatives in future legislatures.

Commends and thanks the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware for sponsoring the educational program.

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to each Girls State delegate and to the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware.
