Direct the Department of Education and Department of Health and Social Services to jointly produce a report on creating a student injury monitoring system by August 31, 2025.

System shall track injuries requiring surgery, pain management, physical therapy, and concussions, with information accessible to school nurses, counselors, athletic trainers, and other medical professionals in schools.

Report must assess current injury tracking methods, document how injuries occur for prevention purposes, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA privacy laws.

Require specification of technological and logistical requirements including necessary software, personnel training, and estimated implementation costs.

Departments shall collaborate with school districts and healthcare providers during report preparation and submit findings to the Governor, Speaker of the House, and President Pro Tempore of the Senate.
