Designates April 4, 2023, as "Delta Day at the Delaware Capital" to recognize Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded January 13, 1913, at Howard University and has over 300,000 initiated members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide.

Delaware's six chapters (Wilmington Alumnae, Dover Alumnae, Epsilon Alpha, Mu Pi, Sussex County Alumnae, and Middletown Alumnae) represent over 700 members actively engaged in community service.

Delaware chapters implement programs including Delta GEMS, Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, EMBODI, scholarships, health initiatives, and voter registration efforts.

Chapters focus on five programmatic areas: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness, Physical and Mental Health, and Social Action through Political Awareness.
