Recognizes Asian American and Pacific Islander Month in May to honor the contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities to Delaware and the nation

Acknowledges approximately 43,000 Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders living in Delaware, representing diverse backgrounds, faiths, and occupations

Highlights Delaware's Asian American and Pacific Islander institutions including Hindu temples, Sikh centers, the Indo-American Community Center, Chinese American Community Center, and Filipino cultural schools

Condemns historical and ongoing discrimination, xenophobic policies, and anti-Asian hate, particularly the increase in violence during the COVID-19 pandemic

Commits the General Assembly to fight for the inclusion, safety, and prosperity of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities and encourages all Delawareans to learn about their history and culture
