Advocates for using the term "Post-Traumatic Stress Injury" (PTSI) instead of "Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder" (PTSD) to reduce stigma and encourage treatment-seeking among affected individuals.

Notes that electromagnetic imaging shows PTSI is a treatable brain injury rather than a mental disorder, making the terminology change more medically accurate and less stigmatizing.

Encourages the Department of Health and Social Services and the Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs to continue educating trauma victims about PTSI causes, symptoms, and treatment options.

Acknowledges that PTSI disproportionately affects veterans and armed forces members, with timely treatment reducing complications and preventing suicides.
