Recognizes Ramadan as the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the holiest month in Islam, when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset and participate in spiritual reflection and communal prayers.

Acknowledges the significant contributions of Muslim Americans to Delaware's economic, cultural, spiritual, and political development, noting there are several thousand Muslim residents in the state.

Encourages all Delawareans to celebrate the cultural traditions, creativity, and ingenuity of Muslim Americans and raise awareness and appreciation of Ramadan.

Urges governments, schools, and businesses throughout Delaware to extend religious accommodations in accordance with existing law to Muslim residents, students, and workers observing Ramadan and celebrating Eid ul-Fitr.

Affirms the importance of respecting all faiths and beliefs as protected under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
