Recognizes March 21st, 2024, as "Rosie the Riveter Day" in the State of Delaware.

Honors over 6 million women who entered the workforce during World War II to fill vacancies left by military service members and provided equipment, weaponry, and ammunition for the war effort.

Acknowledges women who worked in factories, farms, shipyards, airplane factories, and other institutions, while also maintaining responsibilities as caretakers and facing discrimination and harassment.

Recognizes the lasting impact of "Rosie the Riveter" as a symbol of women's empowerment and patriotism that continues to inspire working women and girls today.

Specifically honors Helen Rathbun of Ocean View, Delaware, who riveted fighter airplanes during World War II, dedicated her life to serving veterans, and celebrated her 100th birthday on January 9th, 2024.
