Eliminates the 2-to-1 donated leave requirement for public school district employees, allowing donated sick days to transfer on a 1-to-1 basis instead of requiring 2 donated days to provide 1 day to a recipient

Establishes eligibility requirements for donated leave recipients: employees with annual leave must exhaust all sick days, personal days, and half of annual leave; employees without annual leave must use all personal days and all but 3 sick days

Clarifies that donated leave runs concurrently with any leave available under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act

Repeals Chapter 187 of Volume 81 of the Laws of Delaware (2017 law regarding donated leave for birth/adoption that never took effect due to IRS tax treatment concerns)

Named the "Christopher Chujoy Act" in honor of a Red Clay Consolidated School District paraprofessional who died of stage 4 cancer in January 2024 after exhausting his sick leave
