Increases line of duty death benefits for covered persons (police officers, firefighters, paramedics, ambulance and rescue company members) from $200,000 to $375,000 for claims submitted on July 1, 2023, and thereafter.

Establishes maximum annual installment payments of $50,000 per calendar year for the new $375,000 benefit amount, compared to the previous $40,000 maximum.

Maintains the existing tiered benefit structure based on claim submission dates: $100,000 (pre-July 1, 1997), $150,000 (July 1, 1997–June 30, 2017), and $200,000 (July 1, 2017–June 30, 2023).

Requires certification by the Insurance Commissioner and approval of claims before the State Treasurer distributes benefits to designated beneficiaries.

Terminates installment payments upon expiration of the beneficiary's eligibility.
