Creates dedicated information technology funding units for Delaware public school districts and charter schools, with 1 unit allocated for every 150 Division I certified pupil units.

Information technology unit positions must be 12-month positions used to provide staffing support for Information Technology Technicians, Information Technology Specialists, and Information Technology Supervisors.

State share of personnel costs for information technology units will be based on the existing salary schedule in § 1305 of Title 14.

Information technology units do not qualify for Division II or Division III funding and are not eligible for cash-in options.

Effective July 1, 2025; addresses prior inconsistency where schools had to fund IT positions from various funding streams, potentially reducing resources available for teachers and other personnel.
