Senate Bill 300 Summary

• Requires unlicensed pregnancy-related facilities without licensed medical providers to post notices stating "This facility is not licensed as a medical facility by the state of Delaware and has no licensed medical provider who provides or directly supervises the provision of services."

• Mandates on-site notices be posted as signs at least 11 inches by 17 inches in 80-point type at facility entrances and waiting areas, in English, Spanish, and any language spoken by over 10% of Delaware's population.

• Requires the same notice be included in all print and digital advertising materials, including websites, in languages used for advertising.

• Defines "limited services medical facility" as unlicensed pregnancy-related facilities without licensed medical provider oversight that perform at least 2 qualifying services, including ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, or employ non-medical staff in medical attire without proper supervision.

• Classifies violations as unlawful practices under Delaware Code Title 6 and takes effect 6 months after enactment.
