Acknowledges Ireland's transformation from an impoverished, conflict-scarred state into a economically prosperous nation, supported by American involvement in the Good Friday Agreement and substantial economic investment.

Notes that nearly one-tenth of Americans identify as Irish ancestry, with more than twenty American Presidents claiming Irish heritage and significant Irish-American representation in state legislatures.

Highlights the two-way economic relationship between the countries, with approximately 1,000 American companies in Ireland employing over 200,000 people, and over 650 Irish-owned companies in the United States employing around 100,000 people.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be transmitted to the American Ireland State Legislators Caucus.
