Celebrates visual, performing, and media arts educators across the state in schools and community settings, as well as students participating in arts programming.

Acknowledges arts disciplines including dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts as essential elements of complete education that contribute to academic achievement, graduation rates, and college and career readiness.

Recognizes March activities including all-state music programs, spring theatrical productions and musicals, spring dance recitals, "Music in the Schools Month," and "Youth in Art Month."

Identifies opportunities to support arts educators including emphasis on arts career pathways, professional learning for educators, and dedicated funding for arts education programs.
