Recognizes the week of March 17 through March 23, 2024, as "National Agriculture Week" in Delaware.

Delaware operates 520,000 acres of farmland, approximately one-third of the state's total area, with significant production of poultry, corn, soybeans, wheat, and various fruits and vegetables.

Chicken farmers on the Delmarva peninsula raised 601.1 million chickens and produced 4.4 billion pounds of chicken generating $4.4 billion in wholesale value in 2023.

Delaware has permanently preserved over 150,000 acres of farmland through the Delaware Agricultural Lands Preservation Foundation and operates at least 23 farmers markets, 91 farm stands, and 18 community supported agriculture programs.

Honors the contributions of Delaware's farmers, ranchers, farmworkers, and agricultural stewards to the state's economy and cultural history.
