Direct the Department of Education to conduct a comprehensive review of state and federally required trainings for teachers, specialists, administrators, and education support professionals by December 1, 2023.

Require the Department of Education to consult with educators, the Delaware State Education Association, Delaware Association of School Administrators, and Delaware Chief School Officers Association during the review process.

Department must produce a report with recommendations for minimizing the burden of trainings on educators while increasing their relevance and effectiveness.

Submit the completed report to the Controller General, Chair of the Senate Education Committee, and Chair of the House Education Committee.

Encourage the Delaware General Assembly to carefully consider the impact of additional mandatory trainings on educator workload and burnout before introducing new legislation.
