Designates May 2024 as "Older Americans Month" in Delaware to align with the federal Administration for Community Living's national observance.

Acknowledges that 19 percent of Delaware's population is age 65 and older, with projections that by 2050 every county will have at least 40 percent of residents over age 50.

Recognizes the 2024 theme "Aging Unbound" which focuses on exploring diverse aging experiences and combating age-related stereotypes in communities.

Notes Delaware's establishment of the Aging-in-Place Working Group, which released recommendations on April 29, 2022 for improving home- and community-based services to support older residents aging in place.

Honors the contributions of older Americans and affirms the importance of creating communities that provide services and supports enabling older residents to remain independent in their homes and communities.
