Designates April 29, 2024, as "World Wish Day" in Delaware to recognize Make-A-Wish and its mission to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Acknowledges Make-A-Wish's 40+ year history of granting wishes globally, having granted over 550,000 wishes across 50 countries and 330 wishes in Delaware during Fiscal Year 2023.

Recognizes that a wish every 20 minutes is granted to a child diagnosed with a critical illness in the United States, helping children regain confidence and cope with hospitalization.

Honors the impact of wishes on children's physical and emotional well-being, showing that wishes provide renewed hope, strength to fight illness, and lasting positive effects on children and families.

Celebrates the anniversary of the first wish granted in April 1980 that inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish, while expressing gratitude to donors, volunteers, and supporters.
