Designates October 6, 2024, as a Day of Honor for the Marquis de Lafayette in Delaware.

Commemorates Lafayette's 1824 visit to Delaware as part of his nationwide tour of all 24 states, arriving on October 6, 1824, at the Pennsylvania State line near Naamans Road and proceeding to Wilmington.

Honors Lafayette's Revolutionary War service beginning in 1777, including his presence at the Council of War on September 6, 1777, at the Hale Byrnes House in Stanton and his participation in the Battle of the Brandywine on September 11, 1777.

Notes that all 24 states Lafayette revisited in 1824-1825 are planning ceremonies and celebrations, and encourages Delawareans to reflect on his example of heroism, courage, and commitment to freedom and democracy.
