Highlights Delaware's agricultural heritage with approximately 2,300 farms in 2023, with 90% being sole proprietorships, family proprietorships, or family-owned corporations.

Recognizes Delaware's leadership in broiler chicken production generating over $1 billion in annual sales and production of soybeans, field corn, watermelon, lima beans, sweet corn, potatoes, wheat, barley, apples, peaches, grapes, peas, and dairy.

Notes that one U.S. farm feeds 166 people annually and 96% of U.S. agricultural products are produced on family farms and ranches.
