Charter School of Wilmington wins the 32nd annual Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition held February 24-25, 2023, with over 200 students from 18 teams participating.

Wilmington Friends School (second place), Cape Henlopen High School (third place), Archmere Academy (fourth place), and Tower Hill School (fifth place) are recognized as runners-up.

Jace Walker of Archmere Academy wins the courtroom artist competition and Audrey Pachuta of Ursuline Academy wins the inaugural courtroom journalist contest, with both representing Delaware in national competitions in May.

Cape Henlopen High School and Salesianum School students receive the Delaware Way Award for exemplifying ideals of civility, justice, and fairness after forming a combined team the morning of competition.

Competition was held at the Leonard L. Williams Justice Center for the first time since 2020 and featured an all-female judging panel for the championship round, including three judges and the State Court Administrator.
