Recognizes that Delaware is home to more than 27,000 small businesses representing 98% of all businesses in the state

Notes that small businesses generated $13.8 billion in wages in fiscal year 2022 and employed nearly 240,000 Delawareans, representing more than half of the state's workforce

Highlights Delaware's restaurant industry as the largest small business employer with over 1,900 establishments and over 49,000 employees

Encourages Delawareans to support local small businesses through shopping locally and supporting community-based enterprises
