Honors the Food Bank of Delaware for its contributions to hunger relief and addressing poverty in Delaware since its incorporation in 1981.

Food Bank distributed 16,517,697 pounds of food in fiscal year 2022, served 70,687 households through Mobile Pantry, and distributed 170,270 meal kits through its Backpack program for at-risk youth.

During COVID-19 pandemic (March 16, 2020 through December 31, 2022), facilitated 91 mass distribution events serving 81,935 households and distributing 47,115,329 pounds of food.

Operates workforce development programs including the Culinary School, L.O.G.I.C. program, and Kitchen School partnership with Delaware Restaurant Association, graduating 39 job-ready students in fiscal year 2022.

Currently constructing a new 67,000-square-foot facility in Milford to increase food distribution capacity throughout Delaware, with a 5-acre farm producing over 16,777 pounds of vegetables annually.
