Designates July 26, 2023, as "Americans with Disabilities Act Day" in Delaware to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the federal ADA's passage on July 26, 1990.

Affirms the importance of recognizing people with disabilities and their achievements, and acknowledges the ADA's role in prohibiting discrimination in employment, education, transportation, and public accommodations.

Notes that approximately 26 percent of Americans and up to 24 percent of Delaware residents have disabilities, with disability care accounting for 34 percent of healthcare spending in the state.

Honors Judy Heumann, recognized as the "mother of the disabilities rights movement" and a driving force behind the ADA and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, who passed away in 2023.

Encourages expanded efforts to inform Delaware residents about the need for equitable treatment of people with disabilities.
