Updates terminology throughout the Healthcare Associated Infections Disclosure Act, changing "health-care" to "healthcare," "psychiatric facility" to "behavioral health facility," and "infection control" to "infection prevention"

Revises the Advisory Committee composition to include 1 infection prevention professional per hospital/healthcare system, 3 infectious disease physicians (reduced from 4), and adds new positions for Delaware Healthcare Association representative, Department of Correction infection preventionist, and Division of Health Care Quality infection preventionist

Expands examples of reportable surgical site infections to include colostomy and hysterectomy in addition to hip and knee arthroplasty

Removes outdated date references (such as December 31, 2007 and June 30, 2009) and updates organizational names to current standards (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)

Grants the Advisory Committee authority to engage personnel with appropriate training and certification in infection prevention and control for data collection purposes
