Allows respondents in protection from abuse proceedings to consent to a permanent protective order for any fixed period of time, up to and including permanent duration

Eliminates the requirement for courts to make findings on aggravating factors under § 1045(f) when the respondent voluntarily agrees to a longer-term or permanent order

Maintains the existing 2-year maximum for protective orders under paragraphs (a)(1) and (a)(2) unless the respondent consents to longer or the court orders an extension under specific subsections

Protective orders under paragraphs (a)(1) and (a)(2) restrain respondents from committing domestic violence acts and from contacting or attempting to contact the petitioner
