Proclaims March 25, 2026 as DEMEC Day in Delaware to celebrate the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation's upcoming 47th anniversary and over 100 years of public power service.

Recognizes nine community-owned, not-for-profit electric utilities across Delaware: New Castle, Newark, Middletown, Smyrna, Clayton, Dover, Milford, Seaford, and Lewes.

Highlights DEMEC's renewable energy investments, including over 28.7 megawatts of in-state solar generation, a 69 MW wind farm, and 3 MW of floating solar under construction in Middletown.

Notes DEMEC's Energy Efficiency Program has generated $45.7 million in customer savings and 354,528 MWh in energy savings since 2018.

Recognizes DEMEC has reduced its carbon footprint by over 50% since 2005, with energy now over 90% low to no emissions.
