Officially recognizes the holy month of Ramadan as a period of fasting, sacrifice, gratitude, and reflection observed by Muslims

Acknowledges the several thousand Muslim Americans in Delaware who contribute to the state's economy, social fabric, and multicultural traditions

Notes that Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and participate in nightly communal prayers called Taraweeh

Recognizes Muslim residents of Delaware for their daily contributions to the betterment of the state and nation

Reaffirms the importance of religious freedom and respect for all faiths as protected by the First Amendment
