Urges Delaware schools and school districts to adopt clear policies regarding interactions with civil immigration enforcement authorities on school premises

Recommends that all immigration enforcement requests be referred to the superintendent or charter leader, and that a judicial warrant be required for immigration authorities to access school premises absent exigent circumstances

Prohibits school staff from asking about or sharing student or family immigration status information with non-school personnel, unless written parental permission is granted or the student voluntarily shares

Encourages school boards and administrators to communicate these policies clearly to staff, students, and communities

Requests the Delaware Department of Education develop and share model policies to provide guidance to local educators on immigration enforcement and data privacy matters
