Designates May 20, 2025, as "Delta Day at the Delaware Capital" to recognize Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded January 13, 1913, at Howard University and has over 350,000 members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide

Delaware has six chapters (Wilmington Alumnae, Dover Alumnae, Epsilon Alpha at Delaware State University, Mu Pi at University of Delaware, Sussex County Alumnae, and Middletown Alumnae) representing over 900 members

The sorority focuses on five programmatic areas: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Social Action through Political Awareness and Involvement

Delaware chapters implement programs including Delta GEMS, Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, EMBODI, scholarships, health initiatives, and voter registration efforts
