Extends the notice period landlords must give tenants before filing an eviction action for unpaid rent from 5 days to 7 days after the notice date

Establishes a tenant "right of redemption" allowing tenants to stop eviction proceedings by paying all past-due rent, court costs, and fees at any time before the actual execution of the eviction order

Requires landlords to accept rental payments made by tenants or by third parties on behalf of tenants, and prohibits landlords from refusing such payments

Limits the right of redemption for tenants who have had 3 or more judgments of possession for failure to pay rent entered against them in the previous 12 months

Requires courts to immediately stay eviction proceedings and vacate possession judgments upon receiving evidence that the tenant has redeemed the tenancy through payment
