Requires health insurers to cover the full cost of medically necessary hearing aids for individuals under 24 years old who are covered as dependents, eliminating the previous $1,000 cap per hearing aid

Mandates coverage for at least 1 hearing aid per ear every 3 years, with earlier replacement allowed when a hearing care professional determines it medically necessary

Requires annual coverage of earmolds (or sooner if medically necessary) for hearing aids that use earmolds

Expands the definition of "hearing aid" to include related parts, attachments, and accessories including earmolds, and requires coverage for professional services related to prescribing, fitting, and dispensing

Applies to individual health insurance policies, group/blanket policies, and the State employee health plan for policies issued, renewed, or modified after December 31, 2026
